Established in 1976, Arab Experts Engineering Consultants (AREX) is one of the earliest national engineering consultancy firms. With headquarters in Dubai, the practice presently holds an unlimited license in the fields of architecture and civil engineering.
The firm has designed and supervised the construction of many projects including high rise residential and commercial landmark buildings, government institutions, hospitals, hotels, automated car parks, master planning, infrastructure planning and others. The founder of AREX, Mr. Yousuf Abdullatif K. AlMuhaideb, is the first architect of UAE nationality and one of the founders of the UAE Society of Engineers. Mr. AlMuhaideb is the Chairman and Managing Director of AREX.
